Custom Mountain Hunters

Working with James I ended up with the Mountain Hunter with custom insoles due to an ankle issue. Worked with James to make sure the fit was right and they are the best fitting boot I have ever had right out of the box. I have now put ~ 75 miles and climbed ~ 14-20 feet in the first season with no issues from the boots or ankle.

I purchased a set of the non-topical in-soles from Lathrop and sons and love them. I called Lathrop and sons to get a pair of boots for a hunting trip I won in Canada and the customer service was amazing. They sent me a boot fitting kit and from there it was excellent service. If you want comfort day after day hunting or hiking this company is your go to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Total comfort and excellent customer service

These boots were recommended to me by a buddy. I have always had foot problems and uncomfortable fitting boots. I contacted Lathrop and sons, purchased the boot fitting kit and from there it was excellent service. I hunt in the west where it is mountainous and rocky and from day one of scouting I wish I would have found this company years ago. If you want comfort day after day hunting or hiking this company is your go to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Best boots I have owned

I own a pair of Mountain hunter boots with custom orthotics. These boots make such a difference when I am packing heavy loads in the mountains. I never had trouble with my feet prior to ordering and these still shine over any other brand. A must have when I head to the backcountry. Getting a pair of encompass boots to use for lighter duty work.
