We hand selected the finest materials for our boot uppers and only use resilient PU midsoles. This combination has proven itself to provide years of durability which is ultra important for big footed guys. Assembled over a generously shaped boot last, the SUPER WIDE improves the amount of wiggle room for your toes and creates extra depth needed for outdoorsmen sporting massive feet! I'm not a hunter, but I've been looking for high-volume (wide and high instep) mountaineering boots for a decade. I knew the second I tried these on that they were what I've been searching for. They aren't cheap, of course, but they are worth it to me. Also, the company had them to my door two days after I ordered them.
I bought 6 pair of x wide popular boots but none fit my 4E feet. I don't hunt but got these for hikes. I've only done one hike but they were VERY comfortable out of the box! Zero break in required. It's an investment that's well worth it.
Right out of the box the quality and design stands out as exceptional and then you put them on and it gets even better. These boots showed up right before my alpine mule deer hunt in bc and I had no time to break them in so I walked around the block a few times and decided to take them out. I put 85 miles or 137km on this trip in the mountains and they were everything I had ever dreamed of on the 9 previous pairs of boots that I had bought that were either to narrow or to soft of a sole. I can pretty much throw all the other boots I own out because they will never get used again this boot is basically perfect and built to maximum quality. I have. 4 5/8 wide foot so boots have been a huge challenge until now. Thank you guys so much for building the only true mountain boot for big feet all the rest are going in the garbage.
I’ve just started hunting in my new mountain hunter super wide boots and am very satisfied with their performance. I’ve been out archery hunting several days over the last couple weeks and they are very comfortable and feel great to walk in. I am very excited to finally have a pair of comfortable well made hunting boots for seasons to come.
If you are like me and have a very difficult time finding boots that fit your feet, you have to consider these boots. I have struggled for YEARS finding a boot that actually fit my feet. Best I could do was "these feel okay". After researching and talking with James, I did the 3D mapping and had boots made for my feet. OMG! I should have done this years ago. Best pair of boots I have ever worn. Well worth the dollars! You won't be disappointed.
