Mountain Hunter™ Encompass

I’ve been wearing Rocky and other type boots from the big box outdoor stores since the 80s. They typically fit for comfort like a tennis shoe. Needless to say after not being in a mountain boot since the 70s, these were a process to break in. I absolutely love the rocker box step off ‘assist’ ! I’ve never worn a boot that actually boosts me into my next step! So far I’m very satisfied with my new boots. For me , my 12 D are a snug fit. The missing piece is no finger grip on the back to assist putting the boot on, but that’s my only criticism .

Lathrop and Sons hands down is the best in the business! They will always pick up the phone to talk to you and answer your questions. This pair of boots is exactly what I was looking for when it comes to an all around boot that can hunt in different terrains.
