I ordered a custom pair of mountain hunters due to my extra wide foot. Immediately noticed the quality of workmanship and comfort. After wearing them for a few months decided to give them a break for a day to let them dry out on the boot dryer due to how sweaty I had gotten them after a hard day of hunting.
That’s when I really noticed the deference in just how much better they fit my foot and how comfortable they really were. The boots that I wore the day I gave my Lathrop’s a break where high end Italian leather hunting boots that used to be my go to for the last 10 years. My entire life I have struggled with finding a boot that fits my foot and my feet hurting had just became normal. The only problem is now I don’t wanna wear any other type of shoe. My wife thinks I’m ridiculous because I try to clean them up on Sundays so that I can wear them to church. If you have problems with boot fitment or just overall comfort I promise you it will be well worth the extra money for the custom boots from Lathrop & Sons.
