James and the crew were awesome to work with. After purchasing the Mountain Hunters w/customized insole, I tried them on for the first time, and knew immediately these were the best fitting/most comfortable/most durable boot I’ve owned in my life. From Upland to Big Game hunting, these boots are amazing. My next purchase with be the “Warm” pair for extreme cold conditions.
In September 2023 I had a stone sheep hunt in British Columbia. As I was preparing for my hunt with LONG hikes on the weekend caring a pack. My feet are giving me some issues. So I went over and saw the folks at lathrop & Sons. They gather some information measured my feet had me walk back-and-forth and I got fitted for these boots. I also got a pair of their inserts.
On a 14 day hunt I end up hiking just over 100 miles. And my feet feel amazing. They’re a nice tall boot and they gave me plenty of support. I look forward to this December wearing an amount of mountain lion hunt.
