Lathrop & Sons founders include Ralph Lathrop DPM, C.Ped, Stephen Lathrop C.Ped, and James Lathrop C.Ped. Owning and operating two Podiatric facilities has given them over forty-eight years of knowledge and experience in biomechanics. Therefore Stephen and James applied this knowledge to hunting boots, thus developing the only custom hunting boot systems. They are both avid traditional bowhunters having hunted whitetail deer, turkey, elk, and caribou; they fully understand the necessary components required for functional and comfortable footwear.

Lathrop & Sons utilize technical boots from Hanwag and LaCrosse creating a superb foundation for their systems. At the heart of the systems are Lathrop & Sons’ custom footbeds. These footbeds are custom fitted to insure excellent comfort and support in any circumstance. The complete line of high performance stockings further enhances the comfort and performance of the systems. The stockings provide comfort by offering moisture management, insulation from both heat and cold, and protection against the forces of shock and shear.
